 China has introduced the next generation gadget and which is, the wireless charger for smartphones. Mi Air Charge was founded by the Xiaomi Company in China on this same day (Jan29, 2021). It enables the user to charge their smartphone remotely without any necessity of cables. It was a very necessary gadget by every single human being in this world because in this modern digitalized world everyone needs to have a smartphone to survive and they also need to recharge them regularly. This gadget will make this process very much easier than before. 

The technology of Mi Air Charge

The Mi Air Charge gadget made by Xiaomi has a built-in antenna. These in-built antennas have the ability to locate the smartphones around them and will be able to charge them without cables. This gadget will transmit millimeter wide waves from the antennas to the smartphone through beamforming. Mi Air Charge is capable of 5-watt remote charging for every single device within a minimum of meters. 

How does it work?

On the other side of this Mi Air Charge gadget, the Xiaomi Company has made a miniaturized antenna array with inbuilt "Beacon Antenna" and "Receiving Antenna Array". The Beacon Antenna shows the exact position of the smartphone to make it visible to the Mi Air Charger and the Receiving Antenna array combined of 14 antennas convert the millimeter-wave signal to electric energy with the help of a rectifier circuit. The Rectifier is an electric device that transforms alternating current into electric current. And through this, the smartphones will get charged without any cables.
